The Mosaic Launchpad is a crucial part of the ecosystem, but it’s worth clarifying that not every project coming to the Mosaic Chain will be a Launchpad project. This distinction is important because the Launchpad is a specialized platform that is subject to certain conditions.
For example, enterprise or logistics solutions do not necessarily involve crowdfunding or their own cryptocurrency, so they do not appear on the Launchpad platform. These projects require different types of integration and communication, so the Launchpad would not be the appropriate channel for them. Launchpad is primarily designed to assist projects that require incubation, vetting, preparation, community support, or a fundraising structure.
There are still technical, integration, and licensing tasks to be completed before launch, but several smaller projects are already waiting for the platform to go live. This indicates that there is demand for Launchpad, and the project is expected to continue expanding even after launch. However, completing the preparatory tasks takes time, and the platform can only go live once these tasks are finished.
Anyone who has previously purchased a Patron NFT can now submit a project for consideration on the Launchpad, but acceptance is not automatic. The project must pass through the Incubator Hub’s rigorous screening process. This screening is necessary to ensure that only projects of sufficient quality and with all legal matters in order are presented to the community.
As part of our screening process, we evaluate the team, leadership, legal framework, roadmap, business model, financial plan, and ability to demonstrate security. This is a comprehensive evaluation process designed to mitigate risks and protect the community. For those who do not wish to use the Patron NFT for its original purpose, the option to convert it into shares will be available at launch.
