The Mosaic Chain dev team has made significant strides this week, addressing key infrastructure improvements, bug fixes, and onboarding enhancements. As we continue refining the network, our focus remains on optimizing performance, strengthening security, and ensuring a seamless user experience. Below is an overview of our latest advancements and upcoming plans.
Key Developments This Week (Feb 3-7)
Indexer 2.0 Improvements
We completed bug fixes for Indexer 2.0, ensuring a more stable and reliable system. The development network (devnet) is now live and accessible at devnet-explorer.mosaicchain.io.
Onboarding Component Enhancements
Our team continued working on the components required for the onboarding process. This includes improvements to the Minting Service and the related Admin backend functions.
Validator OS Installer Testing & Refinements
We conducted extensive tests and fine-tuned the Validator OS Installer to ensure it connects seamlessly to the devnet. The final adjustments are being made to provide a frictionless validator onboarding experience.
User Interface (UI) Development
UI development remains an ongoing process. As per our December assessment, we identified missing elements and necessary improvements, which continue to be implemented systematically.
Plans For Next Week (Feb 10-14)
Polkadot Address Transition
Next week, we will revisit and initiate the necessary changes for transitioning to the Polkadot address format. While this was originally planned for this week, we had to postpone it.
Devnet Infrastructure Enhancements
We are working towards achieving full monitoring capability for the devnet infrastructure. Additionally, we will implement further security measures to enhance network stability and reliability.
Indexer 2.0 Performance Optimization
Our next steps for Indexer 2.0 include performance optimizations and writing comprehensive test cases.
Ongoing UI Development
The UI improvements identified in December will continue to be refined, focusing on missing elements and enhancing user experience.
Validator OS 2.0 Final Testing
We aim to complete the testing phase for Validator OS 2.0.
Finalizing Onboarding Components
The remaining onboarding-related components will be completed, bringing us closer to an efficient and user-friendly onboarding system.
Current Status & Future Plans
Internal Onboarding Testing: Next week, we plan to conduct an internal end-to-end test of the entire onboarding process. Simultaneously, we will start drafting detailed onboarding guides, which are expected to be ready by the end of the week. While not yet certain, we are optimistic about this timeline.
Polkadot Network Updates: The Polkadot network will undergo several changes in the near future. We will discuss these updates next week and provide further information on how they may impact our ecosystem.
Our development efforts remain focused on delivering a seamless experience for users and validators alike. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue building the future of Mosaic Chain.
