This Week’s Progress (Dec. 1-5)
Mainnet Rewards & Slashing Enabled
We have activated reward distribution and slashing mechanisms on the Mainnet. This marks a significant milestone in ensuring both fairness and security for all validators participating in the network.
System Clock Synchronization Fixes
Some machines were experiencing periodic clock synchronization issues. Our team dedicated time to diagnosing and resolving these problems to maintain network stability and accurate block validation.
UX/UI Workshop
We hosted a focused UX/UI workshop, laying out plans for both current and future user interface improvements. This collaborative session will help us deliver a smoother, more intuitive experience for all Mosaic Chain users.
Validator Dashboard Animation
Development continued on a new animation for the Validator Dashboard, designed to visually display the real-time status of each validator’s machine.
Block List Per Validator
Progress was made on listing blocks validated by a particular validator (filter). This enhancement will give validators and the community greater transparency into network activity.
Indexer Code Audit
We conducted a thorough audit of our Indexer codebase, further reinforcing the reliability and security of our data infrastructure.
Handling Removed Machines
Work continued on optimizing how the system manages and reflects machines that have been removed from the network.
Plans for Next Week (Dec. 8-12)
Infrastructure Improvements
Continued upgrades to our core infrastructure for enhanced performance and reliability.
NFT List UI Modernization
Updating the NFT interface to ensure a more modern, user-friendly experience.
NFT Transfer Interface
Developing a tool to enable seamless NFT transfers between wallets directly from the platform.
Relay Chain Sync Investigation
Investigating and addressing potential Polkadot Relay Chain lag issues on certain machines, ensuring robust network connectivity.
Current Network Status
- Validators: 1,582 validators have successfully connected to the Mainnet.
- Active Validators: 1,536 are currently operating in normal status.
