This week, our development efforts focused on improving the Mainnet onboarding experience, enhancing validator tools on the Explorer, and continuing our internal code quality work around the Indexer and infrastructure.
What we worked on this week (Nov. 17–21)
Mainnet validator onboarding launch
We launched the Mainnet onboarding process, which includes starting the Minting Service and publishing the Validator OS installer. This makes validators able to join Mosaic Chain Mainnet in a standardized and reliable way.
High-priority feedback handling
We are processing all incoming validator and community feedback with the highest priority to quickly identify and resolve any issues that could impact onboarding, stability, or user experience.
Favorite validators on the Explorer (testing)
We implemented a new feature on the Explorer that allows users to save their favorite validators. This will make it easier for delegators to track specific validators and monitor their status more efficiently. The feature is currently under testing.
Sync status indicator on the Explorer homepage (testing)
We added a new indicator to the Explorer that shows when the connected validator node is still syncing with the chain. This feature is also in testing.
Internal workflow improvements
We worked on improving our internal workflows to make development and operations more efficient, and improve our ability to respond quickly to any Mainnet-related issues.
Indexer internal code audit
We continued the internal code audit of the Indexer to improve data accuracy and reliability.
“Authorize Proxy” onboarding issue
We worked on fixing an issue where some validators can get stuck on the “Authorize Proxy” screen during onboarding. This problem is being treated as a high-priority bug, and improvements are in progress.
What we’re planning for next week (Nov. 24–28)
“Authorize Proxy” issue fix
We will continue working on resolving the “Authorize Proxy” screen hang to ensure a smooth and reliable onboarding flow for all validators.
Sentinel application testing
We plan to carry out broader testing of the Sentinel application, which sends email notifications when a validator’s status changes (for example, chill and unchill events). This will help validators react faster to potential issues and maintain high uptime.
Mainnet readiness and incident response
We will stay on standby for any potential issues on Mainnet, ready to respond quickly if needed. Ensuring network stability and uptime remains our top priority.
Governance pages development
We will continue working on the Governance pages, which will provide the main interface for on-chain community participation in Mosaic Chain.
Further Indexer code audit
We will keep auditing the Indexer codebase and address any remaining issues to ensure stable, high-quality data.
Current project status
Mainnet status
Mosaic Chain Mainnet has successfully launched, and validators can onboard and participate in securing the network.
Known “Authorize Proxy” issue
We are aware of a problem where some validators can get stuck at the “Authorize Proxy” step during onboarding. In these cases, restarting the machine resolves the issue. A permanent fix is in progress.
Validator onboarding and network stability
So far, 387 validators have completed the full onboarding process. Out of these, 14 validators are currently in a chilled state.
