Welcome to this week’s Mosaic Chain developer status update! Our team has been hard at work enhancing the validator experience, improving infrastructure automation, and preparing for the upcoming Minting Service launch. Here’s what we’ve accomplished and what’s coming next.
This Week’s Progress (Nov. 3-7)
Daily Validator Randomization
We’ve implemented a daily randomization feature for the validator list. This ensures fair opportunities by preventing any validators from gaining systematic advantages over others.
On-Chain Identity Management
We’ve completed the user-level interface for on-chain identity management, making it easier for users to manage their blockchain identities.
Development Operations & Automation
Project Management Automation
Our team has been working on automating our project management processes to improve efficiency and coordination across development tasks.
Infrastructure Automation
We’ve made significant improvements to our infrastructure automation.
Internal Testing Tools
We’ve developed a new tool that simplifies the creation of NFTs, MOS tokens, and other test assets on our internal test network, significantly speeding up our testing workflows.
Component Bug Fixes
Various fixes have been implemented across different components to improve stability and performance.
Next Week’s Roadmap (Nov. 10-14)
Indexer Code Audit
We’ll be conducting an internal code audit of the Indexer codebase to ensure quality, security, and performance standards are met.
UI/UX Improvements
Further development of our user interfaces is planned for next week.
Expanded Automated Testing
Additional automated tests will be developed for the chain code to further strengthen our quality assurance processes.
Minting Service Ready
All technical barriers to launching the Minting Service have been removed. We’re now ready from a technical standpoint.
Additional Bug Fixes
We’ll continue addressing issues and implementing improvements across the ecosystem.
Current Status & Plans
Minting Service Launch
The Minting Service is technically ready for launch. We’re currently waiting for the Snapshot to be completed before we can proceed with the official launch.
Validator OS Release
We’ve decided to hold the Validator OS release until after the Minting Service launches. This strategic decision prevents users from getting stuck during the installation process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
Major Update Package
Early next week, we’re planning to release a major update package that will include multiple improvements. One of the key enhancements will be significantly faster loading times for the Explorer, improving the user experience when browsing blockchain data.
