Welcome to this week’s Mosaic Chain developer status update. Our team has made significant progress across multiple critical areas, including network stability improvements, Mainnet preparation, and user interface enhancements. This week has been focused on deploying connectivity fixes, advancing our staking infrastructure, and improving the accuracy and reliability of our indexing services.
This Week’s Achievements (Oct. 27 – Oct. 31)
Internet Connectivity Fix Deployed to Devnet
We successfully deployed the internet connectivity fix to the Devnet. This critical update is supposed to address the network stability issues that have affected validator performance and user experience. The fix has been implemented and is now undergoing real-world testing on the Devnet environment.
Mainnet Minting Service Preparation
Progress has been made on preparing the Minting Service for Mainnet deployment. This component is essential for the network’s token distribution and NFT minting processes.
Vested Schedule Display and Claiming Functionality
We’ve been working on implementing the display and claiming functionality for vested schedules. This work focuses on developing the interface components that will allow users to view their vesting information and execute claim transactions.
Indexer Data Accuracy Improvements
We’ve been actively working on fixing incorrectly calculated data within the Indexer. These improvements ensure that all on-chain data is accurately reflected in our systems, providing users and validators with reliable information.
Centralized Metrics Collection
We’ve been working on implementing centralized metrics collection for our Indexer and Gateway servers. This work involves setting up the infrastructure to gather system metrics from these components to a central location.
Telemetry Page Enhancements
Our Telemetry page has received several important fixes and improvements, providing better visibility into network health and performance metrics.
Automated Testing Development
We’ve continued expanding our automated testing infrastructure, adding new test cases and improving coverage.
Next Week’s Focus (Nov. 3 – Nov. 7)
Vested to Frozen Schedule Conversion Interface
We’ll be developing the user interface that enables users to convert their vested schedules into frozen schedules, making them stakeable.
Staking Incentive Display
Our team will focus on implementing the display of staking incentives, making it more transparent to users.
Continued Indexer Accuracy Improvements
We plan to continue refining the Indexer’s accuracy, ensuring all calculations and data representations are precise and reliable.
On-Chain Identity Management
We’ll be working on implementing on-chain identity management features.
Treasury Pallet Updates
Development work will continue on updating and enhancing our Treasury pallet.
Additional Automated Testing
We’ll be creating additional automated tests to further strengthen our quality assurance processes and ensure robust system performance.
Current Status & Outlook
Internet Connectivity Issue Resolution
The internet connectivity issue appears to be resolved following the Devnet deployment. We’re currently awaiting user feedback to confirm the fix is working as expected across all use cases and configurations.
