Welcome to our weekly developer update, where we share the latest progress and developments from the Mosaic Chain development team. This week has been focused on critical infrastructure improvements as we approach a major milestone in our Mainnet preparation.
Currently, we have 1,081 active validators on the Mosaic Chain DevNet, and we’re making steady progress every day towards our 1,500 active validator target. Once we reach this milestone, we’ll be able to conduct the final comprehensive stress test before launching Mosaic Chain Mainnet. In the meantime, our development team is implementing critical improvements to ensure a seamless Mainnet experience.
This Week’s Accomplishments (August 25-29)
Infrastructure Optimization
Our team has been actively working on resolving high internet usage issues that were affecting network performance. We’re pleased to report progress in this area, with more details provided below.
Deployment Process Enhancement
We’ve transitioned to a new deployment process, which represents an essential requirement for our Mainnet launch. This upgrade ensures more reliable and efficient network operations moving forward.
Validator Node Visibility Improvements
We’ve implemented an enhancement where unreachable validator nodes will no longer disappear from the network list. Instead, they will be clearly marked with an “offline” status, providing better transparency and monitoring capabilities for the network.
Explorer Refinements
Our development team has completed minor bug fixes and improvements for the Explorer interface.
Ubuntu Installation Investigation
We’ve identified and begun investigating an issue where Ubuntu installation fails in certain countries. Our team is actively working to understand the root cause and develop a comprehensive solution.
Indexer Testing Progress
Continued advancement in Indexer component testing, ensuring robust data processing and retrieval capabilities for the network.
1000+ Active Validators on Mosaic Chain
We’re getting closer every day to our 1,500 active validator target – a crucial milestone for our final Mainnet preparation phase. Currently, we are at 1,081 active validators.

⚠️ Time-Sensitive Notice: Beginning next week, NFT minting and merging services will be temporarily paused. If you need to mint or merge validator NFTs, please act fast and complete these actions before the pause takes effect.
