Welcome to another edition of our weekly development update. This week, our development team has been focused on critical infrastructure improvements and preparing for the upcoming Mainnet launch. Here’s what we’ve accomplished and what’s coming next.

This Week’s Achievements

Indexer Bug Fixes Deployed to DevNet
Our development team successfully worked on and deployed critical Indexer bug fixes to the DevNet. The machines are currently undergoing continuous updates, and we’re seeing steady restoration of the Explorer page functionality.

Error Reporting Tool Development
We’ve worked on a new error reporting tool that significantly streamlines the processing of incoming issues and bug reports. This tool will help us respond more efficiently to community feedback and technical issues.

Next Week’s Focus

Emergency Backup Mode for Indexer
We’re planning to develop an “emergency backup” mode for the Indexer system. This critical feature will ensure that even if new block processing stops for any reason, data from already processed blocks will remain viewable. This enhancement will prevent future incidents like the one experienced this week where Explorer data became temporarily unavailable.

Staking Interface for Delegator NFTs
Development work will continue on the Staking interface required for Delegator NFT functionality. This is a crucial component for the validator ecosystem, enabling seamless delegation and staking operations.

Relay Chain Storage Optimization
We’re planning to reduce the storage requirements for the Relay Chain, which will improve overall network efficiency.

Manual Validator Update Interface
A new interface will be developed to enable manual updates of validator machines in the future. This tool will provide greater flexibility and control over validator maintenance and upgrades.

Internal Development Infrastructure Enhancement
We’re planning further improvements to our internal development infrastructure to increase productivity.

Current Status and Strategic Priorities

Mainnet Launch Prerequisites
The completion of the Staking interface and the reduction of Relay Chain storage requirements are absolutely essential for the Mainnet launch. Our development team is working on these priorities with maximum capacity.

DevNet Explorer Recovery
The DevNet Explorer interface is continuously being restored. We expect that by the end of today or tomorrow morning, the indexers on the last validator machines will be fully synchronized, bringing the Explorer back to full functionality.

Mainnet Timeline Update
We will soon provide an update on the actual expected Mainnet launch timeline, taking into account the delays caused by the VPN controller replacement. We appreciate the community’s patience as we ensure all systems are robust and ready for the Mainnet launch.

Looking Ahead

Our development team remains committed to delivering a secure, scalable, and efficient blockchain. The work completed this week brings us closer to our Mainnet launch goals, and the planned improvements for next week will further strengthen our infrastructure.

We continue to prioritize stability, security, and user experience as we approach this significant milestone. Thank you for your continued support and patience as we build the future of web3 finance with Mosaic Chain.

Stay tuned for next week’s development update, and don’t forget to join our community channels for real-time updates and discussions about Mosaic Chain’s progress.
