Welcome to our weekly development update for Mosaic Chain. This week marked significant progress in our infrastructure improvements and testing phases as we prepare for major network enhancements.
This Week’s Accomplishments (June 23-27)
VPN Network Testing Complete
Our development team successfully completed comprehensive testing of the new VPN network infrastructure. This represents a crucial milestone in our ongoing efforts to continue the devnet onboarding.
Enhanced Minting Service Testing
We have thoroughly tested our improved Minting Service, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability before deployment.
Error Monitoring System Development
Significant progress was made on our error monitoring system, which will enable faster identification and resolution of potential issues.
Next Week’s Focus (June 30 – July 4)
VPN Network Migration Launch
We plan to initiate the transition to our new VPN network on Monday, marking a significant infrastructural upgrade for the Mosaic Chain ecosystem.
Enhanced Minting Service Deployment
Following the VPN network launch, our improved Minting Service will go live early in the week, bringing enhanced capabilities to our users.
Indexer Reliability Improvements
Parallel to the network migration, we will continue developing indexer reliability to ensure consistent and dependable service.
User Feature Development
The remaining time will be dedicated to developing additional user-focused features.
Current Status and Plans
DevNet Restart and User Feedback
Following the DevNet restart, we are actively collecting user feedback and prioritizing urgent fixes based on community input. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us to prepare for the mainnet launch.
Infrastructure Transition Notice
This update represents a significant infrastructural change. While we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition, users may experience some temporary disruptions during the migration process.
Validator Migration Process
- Existing Validators: Already installed validator machines will automatically transition to the new network within one month from Monday. During this period, they will remain in chill status, which is normal operation.
- New Validators: New participants can join following the established procedures.
- Manual Migration: Validators who prefer not to wait for automatic connection can manually reconnect to the new network.
Ongoing Communication
We will provide continuous updates and information regarding the transition process to keep our community informed throughout this important upgrade.
TMOS Distribution
Once sufficient validators have joined the DevNet, we will activate TMOS distribution, further strengthening our network’s decentralization.
Stay tuned for next week’s update as we continue building the future of web3 with Mosaic Chain.
