We’re excited to share this week’s development progress as our team continues to advance Mosaic Chain’s infrastructure and user experience. Here’s a comprehensive overview of our achievements and upcoming priorities.
This Week’s Accomplishments (June 10 – 13)
VPN Network Transition Progress
Our development team has made significant strides in implementing code changes for the new VPN network transition. We’re pleased to report that these changes are now ready for testing, which will commence early next week.
Explorer Interface Planning Workshop
We conducted a workshop to map out the remaining functionality for our Explorer interface.
Quality-of-Life Enhancements on Testnet
We’ve successfully implemented several user experience improvements on our Explorer (Testnet):
- Enhanced MOS Transfer Interface: We’ve refined the user interface for MOS token transfers, making the process more intuitive and user-friendly.
- Improved Node Synchronization: We’ve disabled the unchilling function while nodes are still synchronizing after restart, preventing potential conflicts and ensuring system stability.
- Better Balance Display: Small but non-zero MOS amounts are now displayed as “<0.001 MOS” instead of “0.000 MOS”, providing users with more accurate balance information.
Next Week’s Development Focus (June 16 – 20)
VPN Network Testing Initiative
We’ll begin testing of the new VPN network on our Testnet environment. This crucial phase will validate the stability and performance improvements before broader implementation.
Minting Service Optimization
Our team will address known issues within the Minting Service. Please note that minting functionality will be temporarily unavailable during this maintenance period.
Infrastructure Optimization
We’re implementing measures to reduce the Indexer’s storage requirements.
Continued Explorer Development
Development work on Explorer interfaces will continue, building upon this week’s planning workshop outcomes.
Current Status and Future Outlook
We’re positioned to return to our regular development pace once the new VPN network implementation and Minting Service improvements are completed. Upon successful completion of VPN network testing, we’ll be able to resume Devnet onboarding, marking another significant step toward our mainnet objectives.
Our development team remains committed to delivering robust, scalable solutions that enhance the Mosaic Chain ecosystem. These infrastructure improvements, while requiring temporary service adjustments, will ultimately provide a more stable and efficient platform for our growing community.
Stay tuned for next week’s update as we continue building the future of decentralized finance infrastructure.
