Welcome to this week’s Mosaic Chain Developer Status Update, where we share the latest progress from the development of the Mosaic ecosystem and give you a look at what’s coming next.
What We Accomplished This Week (May 26 – 29)
MOS Teleportation Improvements
We successfully resolved the issues related to MOS teleportation through a new runtime upgrade deployed on DevNet.
Asset Teleportation Interface
The first version of the user interface for asset teleportation has been completed and prepared for its initial MainNet release, scheduled for next week.
Asset Indexing Implementation
We finalized the implementation of asset indexing, laying the foundation for improved asset visibility and tracking throughout the ecosystem.
Progress on Cross-Chain Operation Indexing
Significant progress was made on indexing cross-chain (XCM) operations. This work will provide better transparency and monitoring capabilities for assets and transactions moving between chains.
Liquidity Pool Design Drafted
The first design concepts for indexing and displaying liquidity pools have been completed.
Infrastructure Improvements
Throughout the week, we continued optimizing our infrastructure, resulting in improved stability, reliability, and capacity across our systems.
What We’re Working On Next Week (June 1 – 5)
MainNet Runtime Upgrade
We will enact a new runtime upgrade on MainNet that is required for upcoming asset teleportation, swapping functionality, and liquidity pool support.
MOS Teleportation Goes Live
The user interface for teleporting MOS to AssetHub is scheduled to go live in the middle of next week, marking the first public release of this functionality.
Foreign Asset Teleportation & Swapping UI
Development of the user interface for teleporting and swapping foreign assets will be finalized, allowing the testing phase to begin shortly afterward.
Liquidity Pool Management Interface
The UI design for liquidity pool management will be finalized, bringing us one step closer to liquidity pool related features within the ecosystem.
Continued XCM & Liquidity Pool Indexing
Work will continue on implementing indexing for cross-chain operations and liquidity pools.
