Even though this week was shortened by a holiday break, our development team made steady progress on critical components of the Mosaic Chain Devnet onboarding.
What we worked on this week (Apr 28–30):
Onboarding Testing Continued:
We progressed with the final testing phases required to confidently launch the Devnet onboarding process.
Updated Minting Data for TMOS:
We refreshed our internal data to ensure that minting on the Devnet uses the latest available TMOS token quantity. (Note: this won’t be updated dynamically during onboarding.)
Bug Fix – “Pending Txns” Display:
We resolved a frontend issue where the “Pending Txns” counter on the homepage was continuously increasing due to a display error.
What’s coming next (May 5–9):
Finalizing Devnet Onboarding Tests:
We plan to conclude all remaining testing to prepare for onboarding activation.
Enable Minting on Devnet:
The minting functionality will be opened up on the Devnet.
Post-Onboarding Improvements:
We’ll focus on addressing any issues or feedback that arise after the onboarding goes live.
Publishing Updates:
Once we’re confident the onboarding process is running smoothly, we will begin publishing our latest updates.
Key Dates and Current Plans:
- Devnet Onboarding Launch Target: May 6, 2025
- Temporary Merge Freeze Active:
- Until onboarding is successfully launched, we’ve implemented a merge freeze for the Devnet. This ensures stability by preventing new feature merges during this window.
- Development required for Mainnet launch continues at regular pace.
Stay tuned for more updates next week as we approach a major milestone in the Mosaic Chain journey.
