Welcome to this week’s Mosaic Chain developer status update. Below is a quick overview of what the team worked on this week, followed by what we’re planning to move forward with next week.
This week’s progress (Apr. 27–Apr. 30)
Paseo AssetHub — MOS registration + teleport testing
We registered MOS on the Paseo AssetHub (Devnet) and successfully teleported MOS out for testing. This is an important step toward reliable cross-chain asset movement.
External assets — support + liquidity pool groundwork
We continued work on supporting external assets and enabling liquidity pool creation directly on-chain, laying the foundation for broader asset utility and DeFi-style flows within the Mosaic ecosystem.
Indexer — assets pallet progress + XCM indexing design
We kept pushing forward with indexing for the assets pallet, and we also designed the approach for indexing cross-chain (XCM) operations.
Teleport UX — implementation progress + swap UX planning
We made progress on implementing the user interface required for teleporting, and we started designing the UI for asset swapping. The goal is to keep these flows understandable and frictionless, even for users who aren’t deep in the weeds.
Polkadot API migration completed
We finished the Polkadot API migration.
Infrastructure — gateway + node fixes
On the infrastructure side, we investigated and resolved several issues affecting gateways and the blockchain nodes we operate — improving stability and reducing operational noise.
Next week’s focus (May 4–May 8)
Teleport UX — continue development
We’ll continue building the UI needed for teleporting and swapping, moving from core flows into more complete interactions.
External assets — inbound support
We’ll progress on supporting the import of external assets into Mosaic Chain.
User assets — indexing + display
We’ll work on indexing user assets and making them visible in the interface.
XCM — indexing implementation
We’ll begin implementing indexing for cross-chain (XCM) operations based on the plan we designed this week.
Hardware wallets — initial testing
We’ll kick off hardware wallet testing (like Ledger Nano).
