Welcome to this week’s Mosaic Chain developer status update. Below is a quick overview of what the team worked on this week, followed by what we’re planning to move forward with next week.

This week’s progress (Apr. 20–Apr. 24)

Devnet — runtime upgrade for MOS transfer to AssetHub
We deployed a runtime update on Devnet that enables MOS to be teleported (withdrawn) to the AssetHub. This is a key step toward smoother cross-ecosystem asset movement and broader interoperability.

Teleport UX — interface planning
Alongside the runtime work, we designed the user interface flow required for teleporting assets, mapping out the core screens and interactions needed for a clean, understandable experience.

Developer experience — docs + automatic code generation
We continued improving the developer documentation and advanced our automatic code generation tooling, aiming to make integration and building on Mosaic Chain more straightforward and consistent.

Infrastructure — accessibility + monitoring improvements
We worked on infrastructure upgrades focused on better accessibility and stronger monitoring.

Explorer/tooling — Polkadot API migration progress
We made further progress on the Polkadot API migration.

User assets — major progress on display + indexing
We pushed forward significantly on user asset visibility and indexing, improving how assets are tracked and presented across the ecosystem.

Indexer — bug fixes + prep for runtime changes
We fixed multiple indexer issues and prepared the indexer layer for the runtime update mentioned above, ensuring compatibility and stability as new functionality rolls out.

Next week’s focus (Apr. 27–May 1)

Paseo AssetHub — MOS registration + MOS/DOT liquidity pool + teleport testing
We plan to register MOS on the Paseo AssetHub, create a MOS/DOT liquidity pool, and then test MOS teleporting end-to-end in that environment.

Teleport UX — begin implementation
With the interface plan in place, we’ll start implementing the teleporting UI.

External assets — chain-level support (DOT, USDC, etc.)
We’ll begin work on supporting specific external assets directly on-chain (e.g., DOT, USDC), expanding what users can hold and interact with inside Mosaic Chain.

Ongoing workstreams
We’ll continue progress across:

  • User asset support
  • Developer documentation
  • Infrastructure monitoring
  • Polkadot API migration

Hardware wallets — initial testing (Ledger Nano, etc.)
We’ll begin testing a few hardware wallets (starting with devices like Ledger Nano).
