Welcome to this week’s Mosaic Chain developer status update. Below is a quick overview of what the team worked on this week, followed by what we’re planning to move forward with next week.

This week’s progress (Mar. 09–13)

Hydration Bridge: technical prep completed
We finished the technical groundwork needed on our side for the Hydration Bridge. We can proceed quickly once we receive the required response/confirmation from the Hydration chain.

Coretime migration: prep continued + blocker resolved in our test environment
We continued work on the Coretime transition and made solid progress on readiness. The key win this week: we resolved our earlier blocker in our own testing environment, which unblocks further implementation work.

Internal testnet: restarted
We restarted our internal testnet network to ensure we have a clean, reliable environment for validating changes.

Comprehensive testing: latest update package
A big focus this week was broad testing of the newest updates—running more complete checks across the system to catch issues early.

Indexer: preparation for Runtime 104
We worked on getting the Indexer ready for the Runtime 104 update.

Next week’s focus (Mar. 16–20)

Polkadot SDK: upgrade to latest stable
Next week we’ll upgrade our Polkadot SDK version to the newest stable release. The goal is to stay aligned with upstream improvements and ensure we’re building on the most reliable baseline going forward.

Revive pallet: integration effort review (smart contracts potential)
We’ll evaluate the Revive pallet and estimate the engineering effort required to integrate it. If it makes sense to proceed, this could later open the door for smart contract execution on Mosaic Chain.

Devnet: Coretime handling
We’ll continue hands-on work around Coretime management on Devnet.

Offchain voting UI: development
We’ll start building an offchain voting interface.
