The Mosaic Chain development team has made significant progress this week across multiple areas, particularly in devnet onboarding, UI enhancements, and Validator OS improvements. Here’s a summary of our latest advancements.
This Week’s Progress (Feb. 20. Feb. 24.)
Devnet Onboarding Testing: We conducted comprehensive testing of the devnet onboarding process, identifying and resolving minor issues.
Onboarding Guide: The onboarding guide has been written to assist users with a smooth onboarding experience.
Indexer Improvements: Additional bug fixes were implemented to enhance the functionality of our indexing system.
User Interface (UI): We held discussions regarding the necessary features for staking, delegation, and vesting. Based on these discussions, we continued UI development.
Validator OS Enhancements: A new CLI tool has been developed for Validator OS, simplifying troubleshooting and improving support efficiency.
Next Steps – March 3-7, 2025:
Onboarding Process Testing: Internal, non-developer test rounds will be conducted to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Indexer Optimizations: Continued improvements, optimizations, and bug fixes will be made, independent of the devnet onboarding.
UI Development: We will start creating mockups for staking, delegation, and vesting interfaces. This process does not impact devnet onboarding.
Chain Updates: The Substrate SDK will be updated to the latest version, unrelated to devnet onboarding.
Validator OS Enhancements: Additional small but valuable system improvements will be made, including preparations for mainnet deployment.
Current Status & Key Plans:
Devnet Onboarding: Expected to be fully operational by the week of March 10.
Polkadot Substrate Bug: We are still facing a bug in the Substrate framework, and so far, we are still waiting for response from the Polkadot community regarding our inquiries.
Mainnet Timeline: Although the devnet onboarding launch has been slightly delayed, this does not affect the planned timeline for the mainnet launch.
