Weekly Progress (February 17-21)
Polkadot Address Migration Completed
We have finalized all necessary changes related to Polkadot address migration.
Validator OS Installer Guide Completed
A comprehensive installation guide for Validator OS has been written, providing step-by-step instructions for setting up and configuring validators efficiently.
Validator OS Second-Round Testing Completed
We successfully conducted the second phase of testing for Validator OS, ensuring its stability and performance.
Devnet Onboarding Components Finalized and Tested
Each individual component required for devnet onboarding has been finalized and thoroughly tested, paving the way for a smooth onboarding experience.
Indexer Bug Fixes Implemented
We identified and resolved multiple bugs within the Indexer, improving data accuracy and system performance.
Infrastructure Monitoring Nearing Completion
A significant portion of our infrastructure monitoring system has been completed.
Paseo Relay Chain Storage Optimization
Work has begun on optimizing the storage usage of the Paseo relay chain to reduce its storage usage.
Ongoing UI Enhancements
User interface developments continued to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience.
Plans for Next Week (February 24-28)

Integrated Devnet Onboarding Process Testing: We will begin testing the complete, end-to-end onboarding process for the devnet.
Onboarding Guide Completion: By Monday, we will finalize the written onboarding guide to assist new validators and users.
Indexer Optimizations and Testing: Further enhancements and testing will be carried out to improve efficiency and performance.
UI Development Continuation: We will proceed with refining the UI to ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience.
Preparations for Mainnet: Our team will take the initial steps to prepare for the eventual launch of the Mosaic Chain mainnet.
Current Challenges and Considerations
Substrate Bug Affecting Validator Synchronization
A notable challenge we are addressing involves a Substrate-related issue where validator machines must synchronize both the Mosaic Chain and relay chains, leading to significant storage demands. While this does not impact the devnet, it is a concern for the mainnet launch, and we are actively seeking solutions.
Internal Onboarding Testing and Future Rollout
Internal testing of the onboarding process will begin next week. Once we confirm its readiness, we will notify the community.
Project Timeline and Mainnet Launch
While the late launch of the devnet has resulted in some onboarding delays, we want to assure the community that the mainnet launch remains on track and is not at risk.
