Welcome to this week’s Mosaic Chain developer status update. Below is a quick overview of what the team worked on this week, followed by what we’re planning to move forward with next week.
This week’s progress (Jan. 26–30)
Sentinel: delegator notifications
We worked on delegator notification support in Sentinel, so delegators can receive alerts when relevant status changes occur.
XCM research (Hydration connection)
We continued researching XCM channels, which will be required for the Hydration connection.
Validator offboarding: making bonded validator NFTs transferable again
We made progress on validator offboarding, with the goal of enabling bonded validator NFTs to become transferable again.
Automated testing improvements
We continued developing automated tests to strengthen reliability and speed up iteration.
Infrastructure modernization
We worked on modernizing our infrastructure to improve maintainability and long-term scalability.
Next week’s focus (Feb. 2–6)
XCM research (continued)
We’ll keep pushing forward with XCM research and next steps toward the Hydration connection.
Validator offboarding (continued)
We’ll continue implementing and refining the validator offboarding functionality.
Indexer: closing pending tasks
We plan to wrap up the remaining pending Indexer tasks.
Automated testing (continued)
We’ll keep expanding automated test coverage.
Infrastructure modernization (continued)
We’ll continue modernizing our infrastructure.
