Welcome to this week’s Mosaic Chain developer status update. Below is a quick overview of what the team worked on this week, followed by what we’re planning to move forward with next week.
This week’s progress (Jan. 12–16)
NFT Transfer functionality:
We continued development on the NFT Transfer flow, pushing forward on the core transfer functionality.
XCM communication research:
We experimented with XCM communication and collected additional knowledge and reference materials to support upcoming implementation work.
Indexer: NFT collection readiness:
We worked on preparing the Indexer for NFT collections, focusing on the groundwork needed to support handling.
Sentinel: delegator support improvements:
We worked on delegator support inside the Sentinel app—most notably notifications for time-sensitive events (e.g., when a Delegator NFT is nearing expiration).
Session Metrics application:
We progressed on a metrics application that makes it possible to review per-session data (e.g., distributed slashes, rewards, and other session-level metrics).
Validator offboarding (unbind):
We continued making progress on the validator unbind/offboarding functionality.
Next week’s focus (Jan. 19–23)
Delegator notifications (continued):
We’ll keep iterating on delegator notifications and related improvements.
Session Metrics testing:
We’ll focus on testing the metrics application to validate correctness and stability.
Nebula data centralization + analysis:
We plan to collect Nebula data from the nodes we manage into a centralized location, then begin analyzing it for insights and operational improvements.
Current plans / status
