This Week’s Progress (January 6–10)
Indexer 2.0 Enhancements
- We continued refining performance measurement for the Indexer 2.0.
- Initial performance tests have been conducted, and no issues were identified so far.
- Test writing is ongoing to ensure robustness.
Preparation for Devnet
- Finalizing the development network (devnet) preparations, focusing on the last remaining tasks.
- It’s important to note this is not the onboarding phase yet—just the devnet chain setup.
Infrastructure Setup
- Began preparing the infrastructure for the devnet launch.
UI Development
- Progressed on feature updates identified during the end-of-December assessment, ensuring all necessary elements are implemented.
Validator OS 2.0
- Continued improving Validator OS 2.0 to streamline onboarding processes for the devnet, and from devnet to mainnet transitions.
Plans for Next Week (January 13–17)
Devnet Infrastructure
- Finalize and deploy the devnet infrastructure.
- Officially launch the devnet.
Indexer 2.0 Testing
- Wrap up the first round of performance testing.
- Begin the second, short-term performance test phase to ensure there are no foundational performance issues.
UI Development
- Continue advancing UI development, including designing onboarding interfaces.
Validator OS 2.0
- Further enhance the system to optimize onboarding readiness for the devnet.
Current Status and Timeline
Devnet Launch: The devnet is on track to go live next week, barring any unforeseen circumstances like illness or other delays.
Onboarding and Mainnet Stability: The onboarding timeline and mainnet launch remain on schedule, with stability as the top priority.
