Several people have pointed out that we made statements suggesting we expect to reach 100 million transactions on the Mosaic Chain by the end of the year. We are referring to two different instances: one involved the number of users of a previous food safety system in Vietnam, and the other involved data mentioned during a briefing.
In the first instance, it would be incorrect to refer to the number of transactions. That figure referred to the number of users of an old system associated with a partner company, which is a completely different metric from the number of transactions. Many people misunderstood this figure, so we would like to make it clear that it did NOT refer to transaction volume.
In the second case, it was indeed stated that a transaction volume of 100 million is expected on the blockchain from September through the end of this year. However, this statement was incorrect, and we are now correcting it. The correct order of magnitude is expected to be closer to 10 million transactions over three months for the aforementioned potential partner. Even this number would represent significant progress, but it is important that we maintain realistic expectations and avoid misunderstandings within the community.
It’s worth noting that this company is still only a prospective partner, so we haven’t signed an agreement yet. This means that although we’ve established contact and are in negotiations, we can’t officially refer to this as a partnership yet. We’re working toward making them our partner.
Development of the Mosaic Trust Network is nearing completion, but the user interfaces, API connections, and partner integrations still need to be finalized before launch. These technical details are essential for the system to be fully operational. Therefore, the initial launch is realistically expected around December.
